If the world was rid of all wars,
And men would stay at home with families; content and alive,
If people are able to let go grudges
And are able to focus on the future which lies ahead,



If words were to motivate people instead of destroying them
And corrupting the lives of many,
If people can be easily influenced by right things
Instead of giving into negative temptation,



If the world was to banish all illnesses
And is able to provide its people with healthy, stronger lives,
If people could honestly say they love each other
Despite the fact that people are of different race, religion, sexual orientation or creed,



If the world were to cleanse itself of liars, cheats and thieves
And only leave those who are pure of heart,
If people could contribute their time and effort
To protect the earth and its resources that help nourish us,
If babies were to be raised and nurtured under shelter
And not in the alleyways and streets of the ghetto,
Then the world would be a better place.
